What are Restylane® & Restylane-L®and how do they work?
Retylane® is made of hyaluronic acid- Hyaluronic acid is a natural component in the body that works to hold moisture in your cells while increasing the elasticity, strength and glow of your skin. Restylane® is approved by the FDA for correction of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. Restylane® works to replace lost volume, and smoothes out facial lines and wrinkles.
Restylane® is not derived from animal proteins, which limits the risks of allergic reaction, therefore eliminating the need for Dr. Dishell to administer a skin test. You can receive treatment the same day as your consultation. Most patients experience minimal bruising and discomfort. Our staff can apply a topical anesthetic prior to treatment to make you as comfortable as possible.
Restylane-L® is the same hyaluronic acid injectable filler as Restylane® but with 0.3% lidocaine for the same great results with less discomfort.
Results vary in individual patients, but you can anticipate follow up treatments every six months.
